Yoga at Kajukenbo & Filipino Martial Arts Club is not about performance or extreme flexibility. It is about functional movement, awareness, and long-term well-being.
Each class is structured to improve mobility and joint health, build strength and stability, enhance balance and posture, and support focus, recovery, and stress regulation.

Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa classes focus on smooth, flowing sequences that link movement with breath. This style builds strength, coordination, and cardiovascular endurance while encouraging presence and focus.
Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga emphasizes alignment, posture, and controlled movement. Poses are held longer, allowing time to refine technique, build stability, and increase body awareness.
By combining both styles, students experience a balanced practice that supports strength, mobility, and recovery.
Each session includes a guided warm-up with breath awareness, progressive movement sequences, clear verbal cues and demonstrations, individualized modifications and progressions, and a cool-down with relaxation.

Unlike large studio classes, our yoga sessions are intentionally kept small to allow for individual attention, clear guidance and pacing, adaptations for injuries or limitations, and a calm, focused learning environment.
